In the future I am looking to get a new hood, but I want one that will let heat out to help keep the engine a little cooler. I am trying to decide between the Cobra R style and the Saleen Heat Extractor style. Which one would keep it cooler or do you think it would be about the same? Also, I can't decide who to buy from. I know Cervini's is supposed to be the best in aftermarket hoods for Mustangs. But I have also found the same hood for $60 less at Age Classic Designs. But I don't want to "save" money by buying from a bad company and then having a bad hood sent to me.

Extremely happy with my Cervini's Cobra R hood. Paint shop said it was one of the best prepped figerglass pieces they had seen in a long time.

Very happy with my hood, so I say go with Cervini.

The 60 bucks you save now won't go very far when it comes to paint prep.

My Cervini Cobra R hood was near perfect fit with very very little (less than 30 minutes) prep work.
Don't know which would let out more hot air.

it would be nice if cervini made a saleen style replica with the heat extractors. they have a great reputation. I dont know where the guy before me got this hood but it has waves in it, but I only paid 200 for it and it was already black like my car. remember you always get what you pay for.
