I am torn between which hood I should get.

The only exterior mod's that I currently have are:
-GT500 wing
-Blackouts

I just purchased the CDC classic chin spoiler from A/M.

I plan on lowering my car eventually. Aside from that, I do not plan on doing any more exterior mod's.

I want to get the Cervini Type IV hood. How will this hood look on my car considering I am pretty much stock?

If anyone has the Type IV hood and their car is pretty stock can you post pics?

Thanks Guys!
Nick

Here are pics of my car. Also - I forgot to mention that I will be definetly throwing on new rims as well.

I added in two more different types of hoods. However, I don't know how to edit my poll

Concept is my fav but on your black i would say the Type IV would be bad with stripes.

At least it's more erect and not floppy anymore.

Concept or heat extractor without any fancy exterior mods.

a black car (when maintained properly ) is clean. (not the literal term either)
Keep the clean flow of it with a subtle hood.

There's nothing wrong with the other choices, but my prefrence on your car would be to keep it flowing.

I would even go as far as suggesting a stock hood, or a california dream style. (similar to the type 4.) in carbon fiber

oh - after the hood, i would Highly suggest clearing your front and side reflectors to a silver look.

the yellow/red is a soar thumb. so pickup the clear housing and bulbs too!
imo, those 2 small changes will accentuate the polished lip of your rims, and tie the Whole car together, which is only a bonus.

cheers.

I really like the heat extractor...I have a black 05 GT and if I decide to replace the hood I think I would go with the heat extractor....I know for me (my car is mostly stock) I dont want some BIG 'OLE Jacked up hood on my car...cause I think it would be slightly silly to be "all hat and no cattle" if you know what I mean...

Snooze - good point. Where did you buy yours from?

Thanks for all the insight. It looks like the majority of you like the Concept - but I really like the Type IV too. However, I dont know how well it will look with only a wing and chin spoiler. Hmmm.

I wish I had pics of it on a stocker.

They were pretty expensive - I thought that they might be cheaper!

You cant buy that cowl hood unless you want a huge gap above the grille.
