Ford motorsports are good.....but just to let you know I bought "Motive gear" 3:73's and I havn't "any negative" things to say......except with my auto I am going to make the jump to 4:10's over the winter.......

Drake...what RPM's do you cruise at around 70mph?

Wonder how much higher it would be with 4.10's.

I want to change gears also but I am not sure what I want to go with. I need some gears to complement my e303 badly.

for the most part:
auto = 4.10
manual = 3.73

The gear question is always one in great debate.

I'm mostly stock and N/A with a 4R70W auto so I went with 4.10s. Gas mileage went down a bit (I do about half highway) but I didn't buy my 'stang for gas mileage either.

EDIT: Also, remember that in the quarter mile you won't be using overdrive (4th)... or if you are, you won't be using it for long!

EDIT 2: I got FRPP gears and also had the posi rebuilt and new axle bearings installed while the gears were being done.

It's also a great time to upgrade axles and differential if you plan on big HP or sticky tires.

With the OD on I'm around 2500/2800.......
