it was recent and i couldnt find it, but some one i think mentioned the 4.6 96-98 verts are slower than the 94-95 vert 5.0s. just want to classify because my classmate loves mustangs, but thinks the 5.0 is a lousy engine and extremely slow
Similar power top end but the 5.0L is going to have significantly more low end performance. The 96-98 SOHC 4.6 is kind of like the '86 5.0 where even though the systems are almost identical, they needed a lot of work.
my friends 14.7 integra was door to door with a 97 4.6 hardtop with gears, full exhuast, and a intake. from a roll and stop. it was embarrasing for stangs.
ok well i showed the post to him, he still thinks they suck. but now he came up with the excuse that his dads high output v6 lincoln ls will smoke my car. it probably would, but now he just has another excuse. why must their be mustang - mustang hatred??
He's just mad because he knows the 5.0 is faster so he has to find a car that is faster than yours. Just tell him my grandpa's 69 El Camino will smoke his dad's Lincoln LS.
