ok guys, I have decided to get some MM LCA's. But I was on the website looking around and they have a few diff kinds for my year.

So which one should i get?

I'm pretty much set on the Extreme Duty one's. But whats up with the one's that have a perch and sway bar mount? which one do I need ?

I have a 04 GT Vert. Suspension is stock except for Eibach springs and MM C/C Plates.

Also if i change out the rear sway bar will that help with cornering?

Maybe i should direct this towards TOM!

The perch is for the spring and you need it unless you have rear coil over setup.

The sway bar mount is for the sway bar and you need it unless you have panhard bar or watts linkage.

If you're going to drag race, get their extreme duty setup. Then you decide if you want adjustability, if you want spring perches, and the rear swaybar mount.

I have the drag arms with the spherical bearings on each end. a tad bit of road noise with the rear seats down not much with them up. night and day difference in the feel of the car.

I have the MM solid drag race lowers with polyeurethane (Spelling ?) bushings, and I love them. They really help to anchor the rear very well. If you can afford it, some adjustables wouldn't be a bad idea.

As said above, the spring perches are needed if you're not running coil overs, and you'll need the sway bar mounts if you plan on running a saway bar on the rear.

What is your goal, and what is the reason for you upgrading to MMs?

i have the extremes HD, and theyre great....it states u might hear more noise or vibration, but there really isnt any.....i bet if u ride on my car u wont notice a difference...the only way you would notice is if u turn the radio off and really pay attention to the road...otherwise same ride quality with better traction....

MM offers the option of swaybar mount and spring perches for other suspension componets if you have a adjustable swaybar good chances are that it won't mount on the control arm anymore so you wouldn't need a mount. same goes with spring perches, if you have a coilover application you wouldn't need a perch to hold the spring

now since you're basically stock you need Extreme's with spring perch and swaybar mount

alittle, better insurance too since you'll be swapping out a hallow one for a solid, but if you're drag racing you would want to take it off for better traction

i went cheap and got the stang suspension knockoffs of the MM ones... no complaints yet. and you wont need extreme duty anything unless running slicks with a fair amount of power... tubular LCAs can take some fair punishment before they break.

I ordered the XD ones simple because I do a fair amount of dragracing and MM recommends the XD if you do dragracing.

ok, so now im confused. What does the sway bar do for you?

Is it better to have a solid one? like off of a cobra? or the stock GT one?

Can someone break it down for me please? thx

I thought the sway bar helped keep the rear end planted?
