I've got all the parts I need fro a Granda disk conversion except for the M/C. I have a 1970 PB drum setup. Will want to continue running power brakes. From what I understand I need to change the M/C but not compleely sure what M/C I need and if current pushrod will work. Any insights will be greatly appreciated. Getting ready to tackle this in the next couple of weeks. thanks

No worry about the push rod at all.

You simply need to remove the Drum Master from your booster, install a 70 Mustang Disc brake front/Drum rear master (Raybestos number MC36251), Cruise.

All will fit function fine.

Hope this helps

One other question., The spacer that fits between master cylinder and power booster had cracked - does that come with M/C or is that a seperate purchase and do you know where you can get them? Thanks for the help.

Well we hit a snag here.

There is no Spacer between the Master, and Booster on the 70 Mustang??, or the 69 ( Of course 69 vs 70 are different, but still Bendix).

If you have a "Spacer" any thing between the master, and booster, then it is a non stock item for 70/.

The 67 68 Mustangs used a Midland Booster, it had a Aluminum Spacer with a Plastic insert, Could someone have installed a 67 68 Midland??

If so, did they change the Pedal, 69- 70 Power Disc Pedals are Different animals, A LOT of Food for thought here.

All has to be correct to work properly. Mixing non stock, "Will Work, "Like Original" "They look similar" Parts are different, won't work.
