i just can't get used to a single exhaust mustang. I have dynomax race bullets on one of my stangs. think they'll work well. i'm going to 3 inch exhaust, but not sure if I should stick with a 2 1/2 inch catback. opininos welcomed

First off, instead of wasting a bunch of space with 4 seperate posts, why didn't you just put all four of your ideas into one post? Would have made it a lot easier for people to answer your questions.

Secondly, the mufflers don't really matter much as long as they're straight through. Just keep in mind that bullets are gonna be louder than everything else. I have hooker maxflows on my TC and they sound very nice, I like em.

anything except flowmaster or mac, they are of a chambered/deflector design which doesnt suit a turbo motor. dynomax or magnaflow is fine

and dont get a smart attitude with people and we will all get along

If you are going dual. 2.5 " is fine. if it is single then 3"

you can actually even run a 2.5 all the way back as long as there is no restriction. 3" allows for some restriction and it dosnt effect the exauhst flow.

Flowmasters sound good to.

I wish people would STFU about Flowmasters being no good. How many before/after 2.3T dyno plots have you seen? How many of you have ran a flowmaster on your 2.3T and then replaced it with a "superior" muffler?

I have a single flow on my 91 and also have a cutout that allows me to bypass the exhaust system/muffler right after the DP...it's no faster at the track when I bypass the muffler.

Flowmasters sound better on these motors than anything else I've ever heard...and I build exhaust systems for a living. I've heard borla, dynomax, super turbos, spintek, and ricer mufflers, they all sound like **** IMO.

Guess what muffler I'm gonna put on my "race" car....

I didnt mean to spark that but ok!
Damn. LOL
I gave a flowmaster to my friend that had a TurboCoupe. We put it on and it sounded pretty good. Not to loud but had a nice tone.

i dont speak about things unless i know a little something about it. from my experience in helping my friend with his 2.3 turbo '88 LX, a chambered muffler has never performed well on his turbo motor. its not often that you actually get a real seat of the pants boost from just exhaust, but his car was noticably sluggish after the flowmaster. he now has a dynomax super turbo and it has picked it up big. you really dont need a muffler at all on a turbo motor, the turbocharger creates all the backpressure you need, the muffler just keeps it quieter
