Can you give us some examples?

I'm not doubting what you say, I've just never noticed it in the 2-3 years I've been an on and off subscriber to 5.0 Mustang & Super Ford. Either that, or I've never looked deep enough into the numbers.

Stuff like on the cover you see they talk about testing an intake, cam, tb, or other kind of hot rod part.

When you get to reading the test, they did stuff that would make the part test better.

Maybe something like a complete h/c/i combo and then they move from the stock tb to a larger tb. You see big gains ...... sure you do ...... that was the last restriction to airflow.

The average guy ain't gonna get those kinds of gains cause he usually bolts a tb on while he is stock or close to stock.

You see the same kind of stuff on the TV shows. They test some part and you then hear them say we put in synthetic oil, trans fluid, rear end lube.
That kind of stuff inflates the dyno results.

Stuff like that makes me be some what distrustful of those mags.

I just think you can get more accurate info here than in those mags.
