which N2O kit???

Zex Wet Injected Nitrous System (96-04 V8) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

this is the kit i have, its a really nice kit. i think you'll be safe with the 75 shot jets, but you will definently need a tune for the 125 shot to be on the safe side. just get a set of NGX spark plugs.... or Zex Power Tune Spark Plugs at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping! . that can handle up to 400 hp, it says.

if your going to be at the track using the system then the bottle heater is worth it. if your just going to be using it on the streets, then the bottle heater is not necessary..if you have the money then i would get it but you dont need it for the street. this kit is switch activated, not rpm.=[...i would also suggest you get the purge kit with it for another $115, for the street too. its not necessary though. also, you will need the fuel rail adapter. you can pick that up from summit though for another $50.

but im a "internet warrior" and i dont know anything about cars as some people say. so i dont know if you should listen to me.

proly will mostly be used on the track i plan on the purge but idk bout the bottle heater so far all im hearing is zex and how hard is the install and i am mech. inclined

haha, you dont necessarily need a bottle heater, but wrap the bottle up in a couple towels and i think youll be fine, but im not 100% sure on that one...i think the install is pretty straight foreward just a couple lines you need to run, find a place for your switch in your cabin, mount your solenoid someplace in your engine bay, tap your CAI for the spray, and youll need that fuel rail adapter to finish the install, as well as the purge kit.

i'm 16 years old and my dad and i installed it in our garage. if we can do it, im pretty sure youll be able to do it. read the instructions and ask questions on the site if your confused.
please dont spend $800+ to get it installed at a shop.

Bottle heater > purge. Especially if you live up north.

If you don't want to spend a ton of $, you should consider these two kits.

As for plugs, go with at least 1 heat range colder than stock. For example, I use NGK TR6's which are 1 heat range colder.

Most all n2o kits will come with a WOT(wide open throttle) activation switch. However, without an RPM window switch, you will engage the n2o as soon as you go WOT. The window switch will keep you from activating the n2o outside of your rpm limits. For example, I have mine set to come on at 3k rpm and shut off at 6k rpm. Under no circumstances should you push nitrous through your motor under 2500 rpm.

Finally, do a lot of research before you buy/install your kit. It could save your motor/car.

the kit from hsw seems to be for the cobra and i am kinda thinking zex just for the tps system the other thing is for a window switch do they need a tach adaptor and when you shift does that stop the n20 and then resume when you get back up to the set rpm

what window switch to use????

i have a zex wet kit, im almost done with the install, ive only been working on it a hour or two a week, i will be running a purge, bottle heater, and pressure gauge. heres a few pics of my install..........

That is the exact HSW kit that I use on my GT. I don't know why they show it to be for the Cobra's. It will work for just about any EFI car out there, Ford or not.

I use an MSD digital window switch. You just have to tap into one of your COP's wires to get an rpm signal. Here is the switch I use...

The n2o will shut off as soon as the WOT switch is deactivated, and/or the rpms are outside of the preset "window".
