I pulled the motor to clean it etc. and noticed the oil pan lip is crushed, still has the old cork pan gasket and looks like the rear main seal was leaking at one time and someone put a lot of gasket goop around it.

So I might as well do it right while it is out. Looking at Canton, but do I order the front or rear sump pan? Who else makes nice pans and part numbers if you have them. 7 quart?

Thanks,
Ben :flag:

I have the 7quart road race oil pan, very fancy stuff. You'll need a new pickup though, theres trapdoors on all sides of the pickup to keep it oiled under any situation, has a bit of a windage tray on one side and a sort of grille on the other to let the oil back down, comes with magnetic drain plugs. The road race is nice because you don't sacrifice ground clearance.
I even had canton weld in a bung for the low oil light.

Nice! That sounds like a great setup. I could not wait, I went with the moroso 7 quart pan, rear sump, comes in black like my car. The "dark side" is coming to a track near you.

Thanks.
