I am going to Livernois Motorsports tommorow with a LARGE check and I want to order all my parts so once my bodywork is done I just have to install them.

The guy at livernois suggested a Eaton Posi with 31 spline axles. He said it would be about $1k installed.

My question is what axles to go with, and is the Eaton unit good enough for ~ 350rwhp? I also road race, so anyone use the Eaton at an open track event?

I have an Eaton and Moser 31 spline axles. The Eaton is awesome, its so tight that on a rainy day the outside tire doesn't break loose around corners.

The eaton is an awesome unit and some 31 spline mosers or strange axles with some good gears will be perfect...imo

for the price of an eaton i would go for the torsen since you will see some track time. 31 spline torsens can be had for around $440. or you could get an 03 cobra diff for half the price--i run one and like it.

I had the 31spline Superior axles. Amazing quality. I was told by a tech that he liked the Superior more than the Mooser just by the way it was made. Paul (killercanary) also runs them.

I also have read some good about the Detroit Trutrac. It has no clutch packs and supposedly works better than the Eaton at the road course. Will it be strong enough for 400rwhp & 1.6 60's?
