Which Royal Purple fluid to use is my t5?

Im wanting to put some royal purple tranny fluid in my super duty t5, and i know its supposed to be ATF fluid but royal purple kinda has 2 diff. fluid. They have a regular ATF fluid for DexronIII/Mercon trannys, and they make a fluid with a 10w called the synchronizer that says its for manual trannys that specify to use ATF fluid, so which one is better which one do i use?

Never heard of that fluid. Put amsoil atf fluid in it. Stuff is not cheap but its good sh**

If you are going Royal Purple you can use the the ATF or Syncromax with no trouble. The synchromax might be a bit higher grade and has some additives to work better with different types of synchro material, but really either one would provide superior performance being that they are both synthetic.

I used the regular RP auto trans fluid in my '89 GT's T5 and to be honest, I couldn't tell a difference between that and the 100k mile petroleum fluid that was in it. Waste of money for a streetcar IMO. It's not purple, BTW.
