any advice on which SCT tuner I should get.

Car is a 2007 Mustang GT

Stock 5 speed

I have MAC long tube headers, O/R X-pipe, and muffler deletes ready to put on. I want to get a tuner before I install those items though.

Pretty sure the tunes are equal on each, so the car runs the same on each. I think the new ones display live data.

SCT 4 has better data logging, etc. I'd get a tune required intake while you're at it. Best recommendations are either the C&L Racer or the JLT intake. I hope you don't do any highway driving because that'll drone like crazy!

thanks for the response. I don't do much highway driving at all. The car will only get driven 1-2 times a week if that. I work a ton and the car is just a toy.

I'll look into the intakes! Thanks again

Sure thing. If you do go with an intake, get a "tune required" version. They have larger mass air flow meter housings and intake tubes, allowing much more efficient air flow.

Go with the X4. Its SCT's newest handheld. If you are going to do long tubes, you will have to get a custom tune wrote for the mods that you have. The handheld will not adjust for the long tubes and o/r X pipe.
