ok, i will say steeda tri-ax for shifter....

some good springs are H&R= 1.6 front, 1.5 back
or you could try those ford c springs which lower right near an 1" all around or somethin like that

by the way, take the caps lock off

Second to third shifts with a tri ax and very hard to miss; in fact you almost have to try to do it.

Everyone here will have their own biased opinion on what they are using, so do some research on what will fit your needs best. There are several good brands of shifters and springs out there, it depends on what your going for. I'm totally happy with my steeda tri ax and eibach pro-kit....

MGW's shifter. I had a Pro 5.0 and have driven a Steeda car.....nothing compares. Highly recommended.

why dont we include what we like about the shifter or our preference. why did you choose mgw over steeda and pro 5.0?

I hear that pro 5.0 handle is a little short, this true?

After reading lots of posts on shifters, I went with the Pro 5.0 and love it. Wanted a tried and true shifter. If the MGW shifter had been out for a few years I might have gone with that one but I don't like to try newly released products on my car .

I have the Pro 5.0 and I was all worried about the length when I got it, I had heard a lot of people who would get the Tri-Ax handle for their Pro 5.0, but I talked to the guy I was ordering from and he said you should order it as is try it out and if it's to short then order the Tri-Ax handle.

So I got my Pro 5.0, put it in and I wouldn't give up that handle. I absolutely love it! I don't find that I have to reach any further or anything. I love my Pro 5.0 cause it's just so solid you just hit the gears so easy.

I think a lot of it has to do with how tall you are, I'm about 5'10 - 5'11. My best advice try to find another Mustang that has a non-stock shifter and see what you think. If not you'll just have to take a chance. I think chances are you'll like whatever one you buy because the only thing you have to compare it to is stock and any aftermarket unit will kick the crap out of the stock one.

That's just my $.02
