Will the stock springs handle the 1.7's or I need to upgrade?Do a set of 1.72 RRs instead. Will drive and idle like stock but make more power.
Changing the duration of the cam is what affects SD

I can state from experience that it worked well in a California-smog-legal 302 with Y303 heads and a Cobra intake, I got to drive the car it was in and watch a dyno pull where it made 275rwhp through an AOD with full smog gear at World Ford Challenge 6 in 2003.I got to do some engine work and I'm trying to figure which cam is the best to use in my SD girl. I have both a Comp Cams 264HR and a Crower 15511; I'm using the stock DA1 computer and I'm looking for everyone's wise input to lean in the right direction.

Provided you don’t have 300k miles on them, they will handle it
