so next on my list is suspension... ive been looking at the two brands of springs i like, eibach and h&r. i want something low enough that looks really good, but will not scrape on practically anything as long as im careful. what do you guys think about the H&R super sport springs? they say 1.75 in the front and 1.6 in the rear. its a better drop than the pro-kit, and not as extreeme as sportlines. whats your opinion/advice?

DO NOT get the Eibach, go with the H&R. The stance with them look real good.

Eibach

I've had Eibach pro-kits on 2 cars (84 Olds Cutlass and 87 GT) and wouldn't recommend it. They are ok if you just want to lower your car, but IMO they don't perform well. I found that out on the GT. The rear bottoms out on small bumps and I didn't like the way it handled when autocrossing (was ok on the street as long as it was smooth). This is with new KYB AGX shocks/struts. If I remember right, the first 3-4 coils on the rear springs are stacked with no extra weight in the car ( both cars).

Olds (with rubber spacers in the rear springs to get it to sit a little higher)

You guys do realize that Eibach springs are used on the 2000 Cobra R. They must really suck to be used on a 40,000$ built to go road racing Mustang.

I've used Eibach springs/ProKits on a couple cars and have used them very competitively in autox.

To each their own........

Any supporting facts for this intelligent statement?

I know plenty people that use C-springs on Fox bodies and 94>'s. What exactly is the problem with them? Is it their 650lb front/250lb rear spring rates? Is it the fact that they are meant for "performance" and not street cruising? Is it their price of 120$ a set?

Please elaborate.
