Hey guys, first time posting here. I've got a 97 Cobra I've just aquired with under 14K on it!!! It's become my new project and garage car (as you can imagine) Have been dying for a 96-98 body style cobra for long time!!
anywayz, let me get to it..
I have just purchased a set of rims for the car. going 10.5" in the rear and 9" in the front. I've got a pair of 315's out back, but I'm debating on the front. I am aware I could fit several different sized tires on these rims. But unsure how they would look.
I would like the tire/rim combo to look nice, pictures would greatly help decision, if you have any pics of 9" rims with anything from 245 to 275 please post. Thought 245 would be to small, but then 275 to big and would haev the"hanging over" look...cant decide...Would really appreciate the help!

I'll get some pics up once I figure out what tire I'm going with..

THANKS GUYS

This is 17x8 with 255/40's and 17x10.5 with 315/35's. On the rear I had to reposition the right tail pipe a little and I removed the quads to allow the big rims to fit. You can flip them if you'd rather, but I have aftermarket control arms so I just removed them. If I had 17x9 I wouldn't hesitate to put 275's on the front.

I would say anything from a 255 to a 275 will look nice on a 9" rim...I would also suggest the BFG KDW2's

I had 255 Goodyear GSC's up front on a 9 inch wheel, I hated it. They sat in too far which made the wheel lip stick out. I rubbed the curb twice with the right front and messed it all up. I have got 275 Firestone Firehawk sz50s up front now. They look great fit great, and those tires stop and turn awesome. They also protect the wheel lip like no other tire I have ever seen before. Go with the 275's
