hey guys i have a 96 gt w/ stock 17" wheels. right now they have 275/40/r17 falken tires on them but they are bald. i am going to get new tires but i want to know what is the widest tires that can fit on the stock wheels? should i just go with the same size tires? thanks.
damn you have 275's on a 8" rim. I have 285's on a 9.5" rim and they fit good. Yours must hang over and look like drag tires. Thats a little wide for a stock rim.
255s will fit them pretty good too but that's the most recommended for that rim size. Sucks too, cuz I love my stock rims and have customized them a bit and would have loved to dress 'em up in some 275s g-Force sports.
