I've got a basically stock 91 Mustang 5.0 that I want to install a Vortech Supercharger on. The engine is all stock, its got shorties, catted H pipe and Flowmaster cat back exhaust. Which supercharger will work best with that combination? I'd like to get as much out of it as possible without killing the bottom end.

If you do not plan on doing much of anything else an S-Trim would be a little big I think. Don't get me wrong, the S trim is a great blower but I think on a car that has stock heads/cam/intake you are putting your headgaskets at constant risk. I recommend a Paxton NOVI1000. Not just because I have one, but rather, the Paxton kits are a lot nicer. Also, mine as a single belt set up and an adjustable tensioner- the Vortech units do not have these. With an Anderson power Pipe and an Anderson pulley set up I see 11-12lbs of boost. That's more than enough. Vortech units are excellent as well but they are just a tad below the Paxton units in quality....keep in mind that they are owned by the same company. Also, a single belt is not withwout its flaws but it has served me well. The smaller vortech is a reliable unit as well. I guess the answer to your question depends on your future plans.
