Looks good. That's the way it came on the Saleens. I always thought those borla tips looked goofy without that "shroud" over them.It's a borla catback. The orginal borla tips (which are on there now) flared out and I just didn't really like them too much.
soooo, I went and got some perforated stainless steel and wrapped it around the outside. Then I just went and welded them up (you can see the welds at the end of the perforated stainless where it connects to the tip). I also tack welded them to the exhaust support brackets. To be honest...I prolly should have made the stainless wrap all the way around. If you look in the second pic you can see the right tail pipe where the stainless opens up. It didn't bother me any so I said screw it. It would look better though.
