wiring guru's help me out. I am installing some anti theft switches to cut off the fuel pump on my car, (I will not disclose the locations! )

It is a 1991 5.0. Ive got the carpet pulled back along the door sill. There are 2 harnesses, one large one that runs onto the back of the car and a smaller one that runs under the seat along with the other part of the larger harness that runs under the seats, Ive got a few 30 amp switches, thanks!! To everyone else that hasnt, take an hour or so and do this, id hope to all your stang is worth this time, these cars are getting un replaceable to me!

It seems that there is an abundance of theives dwelling in society!

I quote this from someone else:

91-93 model cars:
Cut the Lt Blue/Orange wire going to the fuel pump relay. Splice a 16 or 18 gauge wire into the wire and connect it to one side of the switch. Connect the other side of the switch to the other end of the Lt Blue/Orange wire going to the fuel pump relay. When you are done the switch should be in the middle of the spliced Lt Blue/Orange wire that goes to and comes from the fuel pump relay. Using the control side of the circuit allows you to use light gauge wire and light duty switches. There is less than 1 amp going through the circuit, so you don’t have to worry about voltage drop across the wiring depriving the fuel pump of electrical power.
