If you're willing to come up to my neck of the woods (NY) I'll sell you my 2000 GT for $9000 OBO, mods included!

Recently tuned up. New tires, clutch, brakes, shocks, struts, springs, T45 transmission with 22k on it. Car has 97k miles on it and still runs like a champ!

Ahh this is killing me. The way I am looking at it is, if I buy it... and it ends up being too much, I can just re sell it for close to what I paid for it. Is that a bad way to look at it?

DaNd4speed- Thanks for the offer, but theres no way I could make it up there.

Yea it is. What the point of paying tax, title, registration just to turn around and sell it to make 200 bucks. Just be PATIENT. I freakin waited almost 2 years for financial reasons between my two stangs. You can do, just keep looking and don't settle for a crappy car

Update... sitting around today with the car out of my head, phone rings... and its the guy selling the car telling me they werent giving him too much for a trade in, and he came down 1200 bucks in his price. So... I went and drove it, drives great... has a ton of power.

Only things wrong to my knowlege with it is minor clearcoat peeling on the gas cap, and the coolent temp sensor light is on, but he JUST had the system flushed and its all full, and doesnt run hot... he said the sensor just went out on it right after the flush.

Only mods are K&N FIPK and the stock h-pipe is still on, but the mufflers were removed and it was re-piped. It sounds really mean as it is.

So we shall see what happens. $7800 for a 2000, 92k on it. 5 speed. I dont think thats too bad, seeing as how most people are selling them for 9500-10k in not the best of shape. I saw an add today for a 99 GT for 9800 bucks... so...
