Which would you perfer saleen or roush?

it's still funny to see a GT with Cobra badges too mainly because it doesn't even have the 4V engine. I think Saleen and Roush clones are okay for a GT since they all start from a GT using the same 2V engine.

I agree with this statement, this is the main reason why I wont put the whole cobra look on my car, I do like it but I dont have a cobra motor. I really love the roush and the saleen, but the thing with saleen is man if not done 100% right you can deff tell it. I plan on having all this done by the pros( too good of a deal to pass up). On a side note does everyone think the saleens will look good on the roush kit or should I be looking at something else?

i love the look of the roush kits, the saleen on the other hand has to many vents and notches in the body kit for me, almost fast and the furious .......( almost ). the roush side exit exhaust is awesome in my opion, i have the spintechs and they sound rowdy. get compliments all the time.

please dont mix roush and saleen parts thats like mixing blood and water. but if you must its your car and i must say it does look good but its just not right.

See I love the way the roush looks, but I cant find and that look bad a$$ in laser Red, I have seen a bunch of black ( really nice) redfire, yellow(not my taste), Now for the saleen I have seen a couple of Laser Red ones and they look great. If i had pics of the roush (laser Red only) then maybe I could compare, or if any guys live in the austin area have this look I would be glad to come check it out.

I love the way this saleen looks( i dont know if its Laser Red but its nice)

Well, if you have real Saleen or Roush, i would not recommend mixing.
But if its not (like mine), I say make whatever you do chose. I personaly don't care for Roush 3post spoiler (too OEM'ish), and i couldn't offord real Roush 18's.
My plan is to replace my hood with Y2K Cobra unit(OR heat extracter hood from Saleen LOL(

I think overall, my car came out nice tho?

I agree with the roush wing comment, It does look too OEM'ish, Im also right there with you on the wheels, they want an arm and a leg for those things, I personally thing the saleens will work out just fine. Also I think your car is coming along nicely.

2000 R Hood
Roush Skirts w/ Exhaust
Roush Rear Bumper
S281 Wing

Everything shaved and filled, and add a choice of DD wheels.

I am also stuck on this one. I have always wanted a saleen. but it is very expensive to have done. the roush stage 3 looks mean until you reach the rear end. and if you go with the side exhaust you will pay just about the same price for it as you paid for the kit.

I have actually kind of kicked around the Idea of roush stage3 front, 03-04 cobra sides and rear, shave or fill the cobra in on the rear with saleen 18's, and s281E wing. but I have till spring to make up my mind. It's just frustrating because if I could make up my mind maybe I could pick up a few things here and there so I don't have such a big amount coming out all at once.
