Well, here in the next week or so (maybe sooner) I'm throwing a Whipple Supercharger, Hooker Long Tube headers and off-road X pipe, a Spec Stage 2+ clutch, and getting it tuned at RWTD (arguably one of the best tuners in the nation). They are installing it in Gulfport, MS for 900 (the supercharger, dont know about the LT's and clutch) and then they trailer it to Mobile, AL to tune it. I'm looking to get around 460-480 SAE rwhp with comparable tq numbers. I'm confident that James can get this done on a VERY safe tune.

I bought the wheels on Monday and they will be in on Thursday (FR500's) and I ordered the tires tonight (255/45/18 up front, 295/45/18 out back) and they should be here in 3-7 business days.

I also bought some Bassani Race Axle Back mufflers that shipped out today.

I can't f**kin' wait until it all gets installed

Now I just need to find a ride to Gulfport haha

Spending money is fun as hell isn't it???? We'll have to compare dyno graphs when done. The Spec 2 Clutch is the next mod on the list. I need to go sell some new business and make some more coin first though. Ha, ha!

My car is in the shop currently with the following:

Whipple HO Kit
Brenspeed 93 Octane SCT Tune
SLP Power Flow Exhaust
Pypes O/R H Pipe
BMR UCA
BMR LCA's
BMR Adjustable Pan Hard
Roush Suspension Package (shocks, springs, struts, f&r sways)
Black Powder Coated Valve Covers
Steeda Foot Pedals
GT500 Rear Wing
Shelby Hood Pins
Agent 47 Mirrors

Good times, good times.

wheels came in last night while I was cooking fettucini. Kinda interesting since I didn't want to burn the fettucini sauce but I wanted to unpack the wheels

Warning: Crappy Webcam pic!

Apex, do yourself a big favor and buy the clutch now!!! It is a royal PAIN THE AZZ to try to replace the clutch with the blower on. You won't get enough clearance to tilt the engine back far enough to drop the trans. You will wind up having to remove the blower! Just some my experience to try to help you.

Damn it all to hell! Thanks Heavy, but too late. Blower is on and dyno'd. Guess I'll just have to eat the install cost down the road.

How long will...

How long will install and tune in Al take? Sounds like a helluva deal, Im on the verge of FI... just making sure I get what I want before I get it... I need to ride/see a few more FI cars before I can make a decision...

One good thing...(other than forged/bal internals) I have everything else.... well, except cams and heads.... geeeezzze... this will never end...

Let me know about your down time.

Chad

The install for the charger takes them 12 hours. They go through everything twice and make damn sure it's all put together right. Then they trailer it to Alabama for the tune (install is actually in Gulfport) and then you can either watch them tune it and drive back from Alabama or you can have them trailer it back to Gulfport and pick it up from there. Total install and tune time I think is around 5 days (after parts come in). May be less, actually. I haven't really talked to him about it since I wont be able to pick it up until next Friday or so anyways.

My car color is black for whoever asked previously

Chad, if you need a ride or want to see my car just let me know. I might be able to meet you in the middle somewhere or maybe even head over to LC for a day or so. James is GREAT to deal with, too. Can't wait to get it all done heh

One question Hobo...

You've been kicking ass of cars you shouldnt for quite a while...

Is there some 'fun' loss of leaving the ranks of 'sleeper' stockish, good driver, to
the should win 'dark side' of the FI!?!?!?

Haha my car will still have that sleeper look to it...kinda lol. It's a whole hell of a lot of fun going to the 'dark side' of FI haha. I can't freaking wait for it! It's gonna be fun having to learn how to shift and drive all over again

Oh, at the earliest my car wont be done until March 17th. That's during my spring break here and I will be going back to Houston for part of spring break. I could make a stop in LC if you wanted me to so you could check out the car.

hahahaha 295/45/18 Nitto 555's and 255/45/18 Falken Azenis ST115's. They look the same as the Nitto's really, but they were a whole lot cheaper
