Whistlin Mac TB! Normal??

I just bolted on a 70 mm Mac TB and it whistles a little bit.. Is this a normal thing. It doesnt bother me i just want to know everything will be ok!

yup, i used to have a BBK 70mm and it whistled as well, i think most aftermarket t/b's whistle

The one experience I've had with a Mac throttle body was the butterfly plate inside the unit itself. Pull the air hose back off, and use a flashlight to see inside the housing, with the blade/plate closed (no throttle) make sure it is flush against both sides of the opening. I had to loosen the plate screws that retain it to the shaft, wiggle the plate around, and retighten the screws and no more whistle.
