ok i got one for you guys, 9/10 times when i start my car up, somewhere it sounds like a tea-kettle when the water starts to boil. any ideas/suggestions? more often than none it gets REAL loud too

i was thinking maybe its my aode on its way out...again :notnice::shrug:

its only at idle, once i throw it into drive it goes away... thats why i sortve thought it was the tranny...

plus i got the stinger dumps on there now :) cant hear **** ... i bet once i go to a pro chamber i wont be able to hear myself cough in the car

when foot is applied to the brake in park, it still makes the whistle. only when i switch the tranny into gear is when it stops.

It could be throttle body or bearing in trans or bearing on an assecories.

i read that about the tb last nite, but all i saw was some aftermarket tbs doing that... the motor is currently still bone stock... what would cause the tb to whistle? does that mean its on its way out?

this car bs is never ending :nonono:

You're really sure it's not your serp belt? In cold weather, they are more prone to make noise than when the rubber is warmer and supple. The RPM change in going from park to drive could be enough to quiet it down.

Does it make any funny noises when you are on it and the trans goes to shift?
