leave the cover off, and set the tach at 800 rpms at idle, then if you know your rpms keep moving the speedo untill you get it close enough, a rough guess is 3k rpm is ~ 50mph with stock gearing, fuel adjust to full when you fill up, don't let it get down too low, temp gauge should be in the middle after you drive it down the road a few miles and back, If you can't get it I suggest getting the Autometer gauges but they are $$$expensive
