they are definitely different. my guess is that the seller on ebay has one image and uses it for all of the auctions, regardless of what model car it is for. i bought one from the seller hoping it comes looking like what dmarco received, and not what is in the auction description. we shall see.

do yourself a favor.

go to speedhut.com and customize a set. you will be glad you did.

1. they look great
2. they are custom to your car
3. you can really put what every you want on them.

all of the cheap overlays end up looking just that. I would look into the reverse glow if I were you they are a bit easier on the eyes. that is why I did not get the lunar cluster. to each there own though lots of people like the el glow I think they are jsut a bit over the top.

i went on there and played with their little program to customize the gauges. it was very cool, all kinds of different assortments, thats why im surprised that with all the different styles, 01gt went with something very similar to stock

EDIT: on second thought, i have a feeling the gauges will be way too bright for me at night and ill be wishing they were more like stock...we'll see

Actually, I like the regular glow because it's easier to see black text on a white background than the reverse.

Seemingly, HOWEVER ... that is what I wanted. What I did not like about stock is how they look during the day. I wanted a bolder set of black-face gauges (not white) that glowed green to match the interior. Speedhut was the only place I found that sold them. Here are the gauges during the day:

If you got $450 laying around, get the Autometer Lunar Series cluster. That's probably the best Mustang gauge set on the market right now, and it's one whole cluster piece w/ lights premounted. All you do is plug it in and mount it. Just my opinion.

I absolutely agree. The Autometer guage cluster is the only way to go.

yes, i c, fairly simple. teh only tough part would be removing the bezel and all that. ne1 interested in the install can also check this out:

http://mustangworld.com/ourpics/fcar/whtf1.htm <--this sorta applies to dmarco's kit. except in his u just place the face over the old 1.

I got mine off of ebay.....Halo reverse glows......i didn't know if i'd be too impressed with them by looking at the pics they had......but for 20 bux figured oh well.....so i put them in (extremely easy) and i love them.....they look very nice. you should be able to find them all over ebay.

The EL glow kind that I have do not require removing the needles; they just lay over top of the stockers, between the stockers and the bezel. You just slip them over the needles--the holes in the center are the same size as the circular needle base.
