White Face Gauges

I like the gauges Dmarco has, except I do not like the bottom where all the warning lights are in white. Any way to keep the black face portion on this section??

What i am basically looking for is a white face gauges similar to Cobra OEM faces. They do not need to be indiglo. White in the day with black lettering and blacked out at night with blue or green numbers.

That sounds like the reverse gauges. Not sure though. It looks like I could cut out the warning light section on the gauges if I wanted to keep it stock. It wouldn't interfere with the indiglo. Hadn't thought of that, but it's not a bad idea.

Hey, for $20 it's worth the experimentation. Maybe i'll pick some up soon.

I was thinking natural illumination, and not indiglo. I gotta check out the NRauto style whgite face gauges. I hear they are pretty good quality, but $109. I just would like to hear from someone that bought a set first.

Actually, I like the regular glow because it's easier to see black text on a white background than the reverse.

I can see the numbers just fine. this pick is blurry. I just think the elgow is over the top on long drive at night. to each thier own.

ok, they are installed. it took me much longer than i expected because i am terrible at wiring, so i dont feel like taking pics haha. they came out great, and look just like the ones dmarco has already posted. unfortunately the solder on the switch is kind of brittle and i messed up a part of it while putting it into the dash. no green light for me...ill get over it or fix it eventually. for under $30, this gauge face is AMAZING. the font is surprisingly clear, even when lit. the odometer is very fuzzy, which sucks, but no biggie. the link to the ebay auction is on this thread somewhere, and the sellers name is g4parts.

thats correct. its not easy getting it over the needles, but its probably a lot easier than re-calibrating it after you take them off. the only snag i hit was not knowing which wire to get power from and not knowing how to splice/solder lol.

Yea, I used a fork to pry them up a few millimeters to help slide the gauge under. I also used double sided tape to stick the overlay to the stock gauges. there were some places where it wasn't lying flat, but the tape cured it.

The bezel will also cure the non-flatness automatically...
It didn't when I installed mine. My set came with some two-sided tape, which I did not install initially. After they were on for a while, there was some very slight "bowing" that was just enough to snag the tach needle from deflecting freely. I then went in and installed the two-sided tape. No more bowing. Just my own personal experience ...
