White Smoke??!!

I have white smoke coming out of my exhaust, and I have a leak where my headers bolt to the heads so it comes from there to. It only smokes on the passenger side though. It smells like antifreeze, so i though i might have a bad head gasket, the thing is theyre fairly new and i havent had to put any water/coolant in it. And also it doesnt always do it just when i drive about 10 miles or so, it'll smoke a bit then stop, then drive a few more and smokes again....you get the idea... Have any of yall had this happen or know what it is?? Thanks for the help!!

Recent head work??Recent lower intake removal???Sounds like tooo much coolant to be throttle body leakin..Though the care would suck harder and more volume at 10 miles per hour. You prob bypass egr coolant if its the one exhaust port then that eliminates everything Im thinking of sorry man!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine smokes real bad. If Im at a light and it turns as soon as I give it gas you see a cloud of smoke. It smokes at WOT too. Im pretty sure that the piston rings were shot? It was too much smoke for valve seals. Cant wait to get my new 306 in.

From the description, you've got one of 2 possibilities. #1, blown head gasket. #2, cracked head or block.

Definitely check for coolant or water in the oil. That's your biggest sign that you need to get it fixed.

Yea when I bought my car I thought it was a head gasket too but once I looked at it sumone had put a throttle body spacer with no gasket in the coolant jacket, id check that but mine smoked constant as soon as thermostat opened, but id check ur lower intake gasket too, easy to take off and you never know.

With the coolant going to one side that kinda eliminates my earlier idea.As far as throttle body. But with the lower intake gasket the coolant could be limited to the passages on the side the leak is comeing from.Throttle body would be from both.I know its frightening but reallity is leaning towards head gasket!!!
