Haven't seen one of these before. Looks like it is somebodies idea of a clone? There is certain criteria for it to meet to be a true Mach I. Firstly the hood should be flat black. The list goes on.
This exact question was asked in a the December 2004 issue of Mustang Monthly in the "Pony Express" section. Apperantly only a few early '70 Mach 1s with white interior got this option. So it's pretty rare.
I learned something today I thought they were only available with the black accents. I did some diggin myself and it looks like this option wasn't available in 1969.
Yeah Ihaven't seen it on a 1969 either. Im guessing a white hood would be a little over the top also they didn't have side stripes to match that. Now the twister specials were awesome, that was unique and gorgeous if I could Id buy one.
