I borowed my dad's 88 ford 4x4 1/2 ton in light of the 3 feet of snow that the city refuses to clean out of my street. All I can say is I got to get me one of these!

I bought an 04 GMC Canyon Z71 4x4 extended cab back in august, the thing is awesome in the snow, plows through everything, sure glad I got rid of my 86 cougar that i drove the last 5 winters, thing was a pos in the winter, zero traction and a crappy heater.

My normal winter beater is my 85 Bronco II but about a month ago I got a good deal on 91 Explorer that needed some motor work so I have been driving that.I wouldn't be without a 4x4 in the winter.

You should check out The Ranger Station website http://www.therangerstation.com/ there is an engine swap forum and tech section which should have any info you need. There are also some pretty good deals in their classifieds.

90 Pathfinder. It isn't even fun drive until there's at least 6" of snow.
