I am looking into buying a house that has one, but it is the short two car one, I was wondering if you can add on to it and make it longer. They appear to be a moduar type construction that you could just add more arches and siding.

anyone thought about it or tryed?

i have a partial one.. mine is the carport version.. basically the same just minus the walls.. you can add and get them changed around for a fairly good price.. ours was 24x21 and cost 1500.. for 400 extra it could have been closed in.. also its fairly strong

My dad just had a 24'-0" X 32'-0" steel build built. You can add on depending on the strucural members used. If it's the typical steel construcion, no biggie. Start with an expansion of the concrete pad, add corner posts, trusses, "z" purlins...etc... Just have a plan, talk to several builders/manufacturer's of them and get it done.

Dad also had his insulated at the time of construction. We epoxy coated the floor and wired it ourselves for power. Next on the list is running the tubing for air.

thanks guys
no its in my truck, a 352 is in a compleatly diffrent enigne family, FE/FT the old big block. You can put them in a foxbody (I have seen a kit, but it still takes some fab) but their is really no reason it is much cheaper and easyer to build power a lighter 302 or 351.

To answer your question yes you can add on to it but it does depend on the way it was designed. The easiest thing is to find out who the original manufacturer was. Depending on the end frames you may have to change out the frame and move the other one down. Do you know if it has Cee purlins and girts or does it have Zee purlins and girts?
