Who has pictures of OINKS car??

Since he hasnt been posting lately... His paint is the orginial factory vibrant red paint.

The side skirts are just on there for looks, he had his exhaust dumped out right infront of the rear axel. I do believe he took the side skirts off and put the stock ones back on because they were getting scratched pretty badly.

His outside gauge is either oil or fuel pressure... Just do a search for cowl mount gauges.

hey, sorry i didnt reply sooner, been busy with school, now spring break, g/f ect..

Thanks for the :nice: :hail2: ... At this point, i just wish the car was stock and drivable, its been down for months now, and i miss it! My 4.6 dont compare to the rumble of a cammed 5.0!!

Anyhow, the paint is original, and has been wetsanded and buffed out, to get the smooth shine. Just use Eagle Wax as you dry to get the shine. The hood, mirrors, and side skirts have been repainted by me. Color is called Vibrant Red, by the way.

Headlights are Cobra Repro's.. picked them up at a FFW swap meet for $200 somthing.. Ebay has them, 5.0 resto has em, everyone sells them. REALLY cleaned up the look, with new lights

Wheels are just regular Cobra R replicas, from Eagle Alloy... 17X9, with 275s out back, 245s up front.. Slicks are 26x10's on 15x8 Weld prostars, and 3.5" prostars up front with 165x15 pepboy tires.

Side skirts are not functional. I bought the kit used from someone for $50 with mufflers and tips.. and after the install took it for a ride, and the car sounded like ass, so i removed them and put my flowmaster dumps back on.
I have since removed the side pipe skirts since my wheelchair had scratched them to hell. I might just respray them and stick em back on, since they do look nice. As far as clearence goes, they never scrapped anything, and my car sits pretty low.

Springs are BBK specific rate lowering springs, with stock isolators( fron+rear)
stock shocks/struts. The springs claim to lower the car 1.5" but mine seemed to drop about 2". Never once had a problem with the car bottoming out, or bumping on anything, even with the longtubes ( mac)

Gauge on the cowl is an Autometer fuel presure gauge.. simply screwed the mount into the plastic cowl cover and installed a gauge cup, and ran 4" of braided line to the rail.

The street bike race wasnt even fair.. I ran that bike the day after i installed the blower.. car was untuned, had detonation problems and was running super lean, due to me trying to run the stock 10 year old fuel pump.. That and the fact that i couldnt get traction for shi*. With a tune, and decent injectors, and a 255lph pump i would hyave blown that bike away.

little update on my car, without posting a new thread....

Stock motor was done for, so it was pulled, engine bay was cleaned up, painted, and is in the process of being detailed. Motor build is in progress, just need some $$ for a main support, balancer, flexplate, distributor and motor mounts.

Motor will be using the B50 block, w/ DSS main support
Scat 347 rotating assymbly ( 4340 forged crank/rods)
Ross dished pistons ( 8.8:1 C/R)
Speedpro rings/ clevite77 bearings, meling oil pump
Then to get it tuned professionaly.. Hopefully it runs and makes power.
should be a blast on 15+psi of boost.

pics taken today....

even in pieces its still beautiful

I was thinking that too. Reminds me of a kit car, nothing there you don't need, nice and clean.

I hear you, but even with that in mind, he only pulled on you on the launch. I still watch the video when I get bored :D I like the second part where it shows your guages. Your speedo moves faster at 70+mph than mine does in 1st gear, lol.
