I changed my autometers in my old car to LEDs. I used some from this site. They matched my stock cluster pretty well and made the gauges much easier to read.

the bulb size for the instrument cluster is 194, correct?
now, is it the 194 that you just stick in, or the one that twist-locks?
The Green GT said:What size are the ones in Autometer gauges?
I have an autometer phantom II, and I think it comes with LED. At night, it is bright enough that I can almost read it reflecting on my windshield (like the heads up display on corvettes)
It looks better than in the pictures

Can someone with these installed post up pics so I can see the difference?
This pic is crappy, but it's the best I have. This is my old car. I don't have any pics without the LEDs for reference, but they were so dull they might as well have not had any lights in them.
The boost gauge in this pic (bottom one) is a pretty good representation of how bright they were and how they matched. The top one came out a little bright.
