....and accufab 75 mm combo? How do You like it? I can get this setup for $300 and I wanted to know as this seems to be a better buy than the accufab plenum and accufab tb @ $415. That extra $$$ isnt worth that 1 h.p so tell me what you owners think of yours, im buying today at 12.

I know C&L recommends a 75 mm t/b but to me it honestly looks to perform better on with the 70 mm t/b. I mean we are talking slight gains here but for my non-Pi head car I think a 70 mm will do fine?

Where do you see that a 70mm performs better?

I have an Accufab 75mm and C&L plenum, I probably wouldn't do it again. I'd save the $300+ for something else.

Well, I was looking at modulardepot. I know the 75 mm had a higher peak, BUT when they dynoed the car for the 2nd shootout it started at 265 h.p or something and with the first it shootout it dynoed around 256 h.p with the same mods. Maybe its a typo? So you dont think its worth it John? Every bit helps.

The conditions weren't the same so you can't really compare those two directly... Those tests are great to compare the different plenums though (within that throttle body size).

I personally think you should keep the $300+ for headswap or the x pipe ($300 is the x pipe right there)

I am kinda with JonJon. I have a 75 mm TB and the C&L. Anyway you look at it, it's a lot of money for 10 - 12 hp. UDP's are a better investment or an X Pipe or get a nice dry shot of nitrous. ****, you can buy a nice used kit for $300 - $400 or even less.

Gears!

Although the Accufab / 70mm TB is a pretty good combo for N/A. I'm happy with it, as every little bit helps with HP.
