OD in yours work? in OD im at 2,000 out of OD im closer to 3,000. and before you ask yes they are 3.73's, i put them in myself. maybe the aod from 89 to the 93 had a different geared OD?
Yea my OD works fine...Im telling you im at 2000 rpms at 65 mph....unless some changed my gears...my door tag says 3.27's......if im in D at 40 mph im a little over 2000 rpms....
i have 4.10s on my 94 vert gt
i love the power and acceleration of it.
i dont think i would want to go any higher though just bcasue on the highway around 80 ish the rpms are kinda high and it wants to slow down a lot but there tight other than that
Ryan i'd check your speedo gear...you should be more like 2200-2300 with 3.73s unless your rear tires are really tall. I also wouldn't run anything less than 4.10s with an automatic.
I have 3.73`s with 3500+ stall and no lockup and 60mph is like 2600 rpm.
And if I had 4.10`s I would never get to the 1320 mark below 7000 rpm I also have a 26" tire (275x50x15 mt dr`s) I need 27 or 28".
If your going to go 4.10`s first think about what tire size you will have and converter stall and lockup or no lockup.
