I don't run nitrous, but have researched it. It you have a serious setup, you can run a nitrous controller to ramp up the nitrous flow instead of dumping it in all at once. That way you don't break the tires loose from the sudden power. I'm sure someone with more experience with it can tell you more.

I run a 100 shot, with a micro WOT switch, when I launch in first instead of going WOT I ease into it,quickly yet adjusting, according to the tires hooking. and I lift the throttle quickly between shifts, Has worked well for me, I have control arms and run a bfg drag radial. on 20-23 #'s of pressure,

I've been running nitrous for about three years now with just a WOT switch. I've used a 150-175 shot off the line and never had a problem.I've launched at 5 grand a few times, but now mostly at 3500 or 4 grand. I use 26x10 slicks and they always hook even when I had a stock suspension setup. Now I have the Eibach drag springs, lakewood shocks and struts, subframes, and it still runs about the same.

i launch on juice and if you are at a good track you can hook pretty well. i did do a 1.6 sixty foot with a lakewood traction action setup lowering ford racing springs and kyb struts and shocks. i would say you can hook with a manual. At our local airport for a 1/8 mile race it is a different story i run 1.8-1.9 sixty foots and spin through 1st and second even with my slicks.

My car has a 150 shot on it with full length subframe connectors, Strange 31 spline axels, Strange 3:73's, diff girdle and 9 inch wide slicks, and Tremec 3550 and I launch at 5k on NOS and run 1.58-1.6 sixty foot times with zero spinning.
