I was told that the hardest part for a shop to do is the over the axle bends. I want mandrel bends and have heard the Flowmaster units are the best fitting. At $100 bucks, it seems like a bargain compared to the 2 hours labor alone at $80 and hour I was quoted. Anyone?

Wow, I need to look again. Last I saw they were 60 each for 3in mandrels.

Just looked at them again on summit and they are $99 a PAIR for 2.5" mandrel bend. I also saw a set of MAC 2.5" mandrels w/ chrome tips for $190 at Mustang Depot? I think. Anyone have experience with the fit of either?

I went by a shop a friend recommended, this morning, and the guy (kind of a bubba type) said that of the pre-made's, he would use/install the Flowmaster. He will work up a quote for me later today. Now I just have to make a decision on the Super Turbos. Are those going to be too quiet? It is a vert...

68 Ive got super turbos and flowmaster tail pipes on my vert sounds great and not too loud with overdrive crusing the interstate wind noise is just about as loud but when u get on it really rumbles :)

Thanks, that is just what I wanted to hear. No pun intended. I just ordered the Flowmaster tailpipes and the Super Turbos, I am sure a local shop can handle everything else. Do you think the 3" tip will give it a deaper sound?
