HOLY ****NITS!! With a set of cams with my Novi that would put me anywhere from 480-500 HP.

I guess I know what my next mod will be. Well that and forged internals, and an intercooler, and maybe an intake, then some....

idling

those of you with aftermarket cams, what is the idling like? Does it hold at a constant level or does it fluctuate at idle?

VT Blower cams in my car have a nice gentle lope, idling at ~700 RPMs. The car never really fluctuates in RPM, but sounds like it is. A little hard to describe. Now on very cool mornings, even after the car is normal running temperature, the cams lope even more. Can be very noticeable at times.

I'm sitting here debating on whether or not to get a set of cams for my car. What kind of HP and TQ gains would I be looking at. I want something that's streetable, so something "mild".
