If you do tell me your opin.

Mainly after pedal feel, this is for my wifes notch we are not happy with the pedal feel with the KC.

What cable, quad, and adj also

Thx
Chris

For my wifes notch we are unhappy with the pedal feel in her car...but thx for thinkin I'm dumb enuff to think a KC would hold more than a Spec 3....I did just start playin with stangs yesterday

Edited my 1st post to save confusion

 im gonna venture a guess that if your spec 3 aint holding that a kc wont either:D

A lot of people actually run a KC disc with a centerforce (or equivilent) pressure plate. edit: nevermind

I run the KC setup, pedal feel is good, not too soft, not too firm. Actually felt better than stock, and it's nicer than the HD unit.

I went with the MM clutch kit, and I highly recommend it. In fact, I wouldn't recommend any other kit as I don't know of any that actually use OEM clutch cables (other than MM)

hope this helps

This is for a 306, tfs tw heads, tfs street int, tfs stg 1 cam (very mild combo)

Currently running the KC but not liking it

New Ford OEM Cable
UPR Triple hook quad
UPR firewall adj

All have 5k on it (motor and all)

Pedal feel is horrid..very stiff. My Spec Stage 3 is softer.

My wife didnt want a race clutch in her car, why I bought the KC thinkin the lil 150$ clutch would hold an ok amount of power and have a nice pedal feel

They claim like stock feel and 40% more clamping

I have searched thru the Corral forums since i made this post and it seems very common that the KC has stiff pedal.
I was going to change the cable just to try, but this cable is a new OEM Ford cable with 5k on it, and it has felt this way since day one.

I knew I shoulda bought the AutoZone special with lifetime warr.....ugh

The KC pressure plate is known for this they claim on Corral.

This is one of the only parts I didnt research in full detail...just bought it because I THOUGHT it was a well liked clutch.

See what I get for being lazy one time..ha

i thought you were joking and i did not think you were actually serious. i thought that because you posted in talk and i know you are not dumb

any way, i had a kc and the pedal was more than stock. with the stock cable and quad, it liked to engage at a different point every time i let off the pedal:shrug:  . after i got an adjustable cable it didnt change much except for the engage point was now consistent.

i like mine. i have got many completements about the pedal feel.
i run an oem cable and frpp quardrant.

my pedal used to be SUPER hard untill i found a melted clutch cable.

Its better than my brother's centerforce.

as a side note mine holds 400rwhp.

I run the same firewall adj and Quad in my 95 and its like a dream.

I keep thinking the cable but upon insp it is fine, routed properly and all....and most of all only has 5k on it, and has felt this way since day one

Maybe I damaged it installing it?

Hard to say...a bit of a bitch to install a new one to check though. I'd look at this route before buying and installing a new clutch however

You covered my first thought - that the cable was binding or being suscepted to too much heat. Do you run LT's on the fox III? The cable is routed below the K?

Good luck.
