A buddy of mine has 96 cobra with 4.10s, o/r hpipe, B&M and those slowly flowmasters <---LOL (right) and i use to race him all the time to 60mph and he would pull me by about 1/2 a car....but then again i could never hit 3rd racing to just 60mph.

my camaro went through 3 LS1s until i got one without piston slap....i got rid of it when the warranty was up! PIECES OF $HIT!!!

I guess Ford's are all flawless from the factory?

one of my buddys in texas had the same problem......and EVERY LS1 i have heard slaps!!!!!!!!!

You need to get your chit tuned Ruben! You're giving up HP that IS there.

How are your DR's holding up? I think you'll hang if not gain from a dig down low, up top, he might have the upper hand.....also, everyone he does drive it like he stole it.

no tune as of right now, need to save money for other stuff, but I will say that the drags are coming off today they are way too gone and putting on my old tires.....

thanks fellas, up top is where my car really pulls hard, those heads make a world of difference, but than again LS1's pull hard up top, I think it should be a good run....
