Hey whoever did this u will know what im talking about...
i have a 1990 5.0...and im switching out the thottle cable because i believe its stretched and old..and im doing an engien swap anyway soo...
anyway i got it out of the firewall...but there is a round metal plate that the end of the cable goes through right after the firewall...this was a bitch to remove so i ended up yanking it out through the firewall so it slide out of the plate..now the plate is serparated and laying here and i was wondering if you REALLY need that to go back on? because i have no idea how i am going to get back on , u cant hardly fit a hand up in the there by the gas pedal..how the hell could u slide that thing back on? answers??
