Who's addicted?

I've always wanted a Weber setup on my car, ever since i first laid eyes on one on a GT350 years ago. The thing about tuning them is to just do it step by step on each one. The coolest part is you can tune the venturies to suit just about any engine so once you buy one you could use it on any engine of the same block type whether it's mild or stroked and crazy.

I too share the addiction. I end up buying the next upgrade before even installing the last one purchased. I have a 308 sitting in the corner of my kitchen, waiting to have the H/C/I installed (luckily my wife quit asking about it). I have a MAF conversion kit for said engine, but havent converted it yet. My interior is out, because I have everything I need to paint the plastics and install my custom stereo, but I havent started yet. I almost bought new wheels the other day, but realized I wont even be driving the car for at least a month until I get these other projects done...

Well now,.. that's you and I both have always wanted a Weber setup. It's been the "dream car setup" for me for 20+ years. Since I can't have the dream car,....I will have the dream car setup instead. I don't know when I'm gonna come into 1600.00 dollars that I can look past this year, but it will be before the year ends.

She quit asking about it???? what'd do throw a table cloth over it?

WTF is wrong w/ the cool ones you currently have on it?

Ive always had a love affair with the 10th anniversary wheels, even had them on my old '95. If you want my Eleanor wheels for a change up on your car, I'll sell em to ya cheap. :)

Here is my car currently:

Even though I hate to copy people, this car is exactly what I pictured mine looking like, even down to the newer rear quarter windows:

What can I say, I just cant get it out of my mind.

what size are they?

No, on second thought , you should keep em. You could always use them as chairs for sitting around your 308 breakfast bar:rlaugh:

I just got my first Mustang. My first V8, actually. The car was in a dire need of a tune up. I just got the full tune up done yesterday, and I must have gained at least 40hp haha. I can almost get the tires loose in 1st gear. It's nice owning a car with a little "oomph", and now I'm already looking for more power... my Fox is 100% stock so I feel a little bad about modifying it, but it will be worth it, I think.

To answer your question, I think so.

Addicted? Yes!

I'm sure I'm borderline OCD when it comes to these things. I started out just wanting to fix the previous owner's wiring hack job. Now I'm thinking about tearing out the K-member, sandblasting, smoothing and painting the engine bay :/ The only thing stopping me is my wife - she would kill me because I have to renovate the house (new hardwood floors, patio in bedroom, gutting main bathroom)...

So doing a little bit this spring - fixing and then hiding wires and vacuums. Then I've decided to clean the front end with basically a tooth brush (sort of - no pressure washer). Here's what I got after about an hour of elbow grease... (long ways to go, won't be perfect because i'm not taking this apart - if I do, I will end up putting on the other 5 lug swap I have with SN95 spindles, Cobra calipers, ss brake lines, etc...) I need to stop somewhere! lol

Addiction to Fox Mustangs is no laughing matter. My garage is a freaking mess, parts everywhere. Got an entire EFI harness temporarily connected with EEC is on the cowl (to test before hiding). Dash is apart, going to flock the dash bezels, take the interior apart again for better cleaning and fixing what I couldn't last winter... ughhh... Every freaking spare minute I have left is in the car. When I'm at work, I'm thinking about what to do next or post whore on several stang boards.

Worst part is... my wife comes in the garage and says "I'm horny, let's do it" and my reply is "ok, after I finished soldering these wires" and I go back in the house 4 hours later. LOL

Damn! But the end result is freaking sweet!

plz don't encourage me. :( lol

Oh, you're still on the fence? I thought you were planning it. I was only planning to swap out my motor. Then I decided while that was out might as well hide the wires, then with the wires gone the paint was 15 years old, then with the motor out might as well change the K-member, with the new K-member might as well put extreme headers on so I went with MAC 1-3/4" Ceramic w/ 3" Collector, with those I might as well go with 3" all the way so I installed a MAC 3" Prochamber and MAC 3" cat back, with all this stuff I needed to tune it so I went with a P.M.S. unit I found in the Classifieds, then installed Tokico 5-way adjustable struts, of course I needed 4 bolt Caster/Camber plates. You can see where I'm going, OCD made me do it.
