What's the problem? The obsession w/ chrome, or the carpal tunnel from polishing it?Yep. That's where my custom title here comes from.
I've always wanted a Weber setup on my car, ever since i first laid eyes on one on a GT350 years ago. The thing about tuning them is to just do it step by step on each one. The coolest part is you can tune the venturies to suit just about any engine so once you buy one you could use it on any engine of the same block type whether it's mild or stroked and crazy.
I too share the addiction. I end up buying the next upgrade before even installing the last one purchased.
I have a 308 sitting in the corner of my kitchen, waiting to have the H/C/I installed (luckily my wife quit asking about it).
She quit asking about it???? what'd do throw a table cloth over it?
I have a MAF conversion kit for said engine, but havent converted it yet. My interior is out, because I have everything I need to paint the plastics and install my custom stereo, but I havent started yet.
but realized I wont even be driving the car for at least a month until I get these other projects done...I almost bought new wheels the other day,
what size are they?Ive always had a love affair with the 10th anniversary wheels, even had them on my old '95. If you want my Eleanor wheels for a change up on your car, I'll sell em to ya cheap.![]()

what size are they?
No, on second thought , you should keep em. You could always use them as chairs for sitting around your 308 breakfast bar![]()
That sounds reason enough to get in there and work!! Car looks great, a nice canidate for a rebuildMine needs paint horribly (the top photo). Otherwise, it will have a fresh engine, exhaust, interior, and nice stereo once I get my sorry butt out into the garage.
Even though I hate to copy people, this car is exactly what I pictured mine looking like, even down to the newer rear quarter windows:
What can I say, I just cant get it out of my mind.
Boss 351
I am OCD and I did rip the motor out, add a tubular k-member and repaint the engine bay (after hiding wires and holes). Then installed a 347 stroker.
lolDamn! But the end result is freaking sweet!
plz don't encourage me.lol
