If you didnt live in two different states simultaneously, I would. I cant find my flux capacitor.

J/K man. I would give a hand if I lived close.

I tell you what Grady.....to be nine he pays attention to what we talk about the car and is quick to list the mods etc.........but after a few minutes of working I look up and he is shooting baskets....or something else.......maybe in a few years he will be turning wrenches with me............It's hard enough for me not to cuss while he is in the garage........but he has heard dad slip...LOL

There's your mistake - hearing those words of wisdom was what captivated my interest as a youngster, so I hung around to see what was going on.

Seriously, he will come around. You dont want him to burn out or anything.

Congrats. Two boys. Oregon, Ohio better look out.

Something I bet you are thinking about.......................
Around the time Drake turns 13 or so is a great time to buy him his first car - a fixer-upper stang, etc. My first car was really eclectic and I touched about every single fastener and component on it. If it can be said that I know a thing or two, that was where the interest and zest for knowledge and self-sufficiency came from.

Not to mention that it is a great way to spend some time with the youngster.

But for now it seems you will be busy building baby toys and what-not. Cool.
