Seems to me that I remember talking about this in some other thread..........You have this "disdain" for Germans....
You know,..........we did beat them,.....they lost the war.....You know that right?

No,...I work retail. That means I will have to work tomorrow. Ordinarily, that is my standard day off, but this is my Saturday off upcoming, so the Monday is forfeit. (They did pay me for this day though,.so....It's about as good as I can expect)

Christmas here is still "waiting" to happen as well,....everybody is just now getting around. Equally over the top as you've described...

I have two vacation days that have to be taken by end of year, so Thursday I'm off. When combining those two days w/ the Saturday, that means a mini-vacay.

So,...Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and then I go back to my regular Monday....So, Monday is off too. How can you beat that?

Also this year on the 31st,..Will be my 31st Wedding anniversary too. Couldn't be happier about being married to this woman.

Nobody gets the Big dog,...he's mine. (He's waiting on his mom to get downstairs so she can open the present he got her,....making sure that one of the cat's don't come along and take credit for his efforts...(the big box w/ the Christmas dogs on it)).

I got a handle of cinnamon Jack, snacks and cash.
I'm much too picky for tools, clothes, ect.

I'm thinking of using the cash on the Craftsman 41 inch 16 drawer soft close tool box set.

Or a couple of nice lounge type chairs for the bedroom.
Decisions decisions.
