Is this meet only for Quebec residents, or can anyone join? That being said.....will there be some sort of central location (between both provinces) for the meet?

Yeah, but it only works out for you if it's on the Eastern side of Quebec near the St Lawrence River (assuming your location is Fredricton "New Brunswick"). I'm thinking something more the Western side, near Gatineau or Ottawa to suit more of the Ontario residence.

If my car is repaired by this time.. maybe I would try to go to gatineau with it.. it's not that I don't trust my stang but....

Plus it have the wrong gear in the back ( automatic--> manual swap)

But if it's repaired I guess I would try it!

If I don't have to drive on the horrible roads of Gatineau, I'm in.

You're right, Montreal's roads are quite terrible! I've been there a few times near the airport(s), and WOW. Shoot me now.

I live in Ottawa, and the roads are quite nice! Wouldn't mind if the Stang meet was in Ottawa.

Mine should go in the body shop to get the floors fixed up soon... I won't be putting in the new engine until I can pop a mid to low 13 second run with the stock old and tired engine. But I trust the old 5.0L to bring me anywhere I guess I'm in.

I'd be able and willing, if its near Ottawa or Montreal on a weekend. I just drove 1600km from Halifax to Kingston 3 weeks ago so a 2-hour drive is no difficult task. There was also talk of a meet for anyone who want to join, probably in April, around the Waterloo or Niagara region. Kind of far for alot of folks but I just thought I'd mention it.

Gearbanger - Where in Ontario are you?

Currently, Northern. Sudbury to be exact. But oddly enough, I may be moving to Kingston this spring if things with the company I'm with continue to go the way they do.

I have a buddy whos' gonna start work at Inco in april in Sudbury. I'm planning to head up there some time this summer to go drag racing with him, he's got a '95 Z28. Kingston is a decent town though, lots of good-quality girls

Yeah, they have a couple of events here in the summer where they close down a couple of the air strips. (one in Elliot Lake, the other in North Bay). That's probably where he's going to be doing it. Inco seems to be the place to work in this town.....after all, Nickel Production is what we're famous for. I hope your buddy doesn't have a very strong work ethic, because if he does now, he won't for long and he's going to be bored to tears once he starts for the company. Inco's famous for paying a lot of money, but their employees do VERY little work.

I've been to Kingston in the past. I had to do a couple of investigations up there about 3-summers ago, so I got a chance to see first hand some of the "quality" females you've got to offer. That's one of the things I'm looking forward to, to tell you the truth.

Anyway, if you do make it up here this summer, send me a PM and we'll get together for a Beer one night. You'd officially be the first memeber I've met from the site.
