I've had the same car since 93.
On the 4th engine, 2 5.0's, a 347 (that never got used), and now a terminator.
On third trans, stock, rebuilt stock, now tk0600
Unbelievably on only my second rear, stock, then a 31 spline auburn setup, which has just about met it's maker too.

I prefer not to add up all the stuff i've bought, broken or sold to upgrade.

I bought my first Mustang when i was 16 back in 1997. I still have it. So that's 16 years.

I did own a 2003 GT for 5 years from 2003-2008. I miss that car.

The first time I ever rode in one it was my friends, and I thought nothing of it. It was/is a 90's lx, green, 5.0. And I just remember the back seat being small.

So 3 years later i'm shopping around for my first car. Go to this guy my grandpa bought his monte from. Didn't see anything I liked. Then he said he had a mustang in the garage. So he pulled it out and I drove it around the block. FELL IN LOVE. Learned to drive a stick in it on my first day, took it out by myself ( nervous as hell ) remember how the clutch killed my leg haha

Anyways, bought it way overpriced but worth it to me. I really think its a car you have to drive to appreciate.

Mine is a 90.
My father still regrets letting my mother take me to look at it.

I bought my '90 in '96 and still have it. Hard to believe it's been 16 years. I bought my '92 in '04 because the '90 was getting a little rough around the edges.

This is my old account that was never switched over to "ill advised".

That's right. Was thinking it was a 93 for some reason!

I have had the 1990 since May of 1993. Don't plan on selling it for a long time either.

Aunt purchased mine new in 1990. Rode around in kindergarten in it, and she gave it to me when I was 16. Been my only mustang I have ever owned. Came close to buying roller coupes, but never have.

I've owned my 86 since joining but this thread is making me miss my old 89 that I bought and raced in 90. It's on it's 3rd owner right now and I know where it is maybe I should see if he'd sell it back to me!?
