who's running without AC? or without heat?

No ac, I took it off when I was 17. It even worked when I removed it.. wish I hadn't now.. I still have heat in it, it gets cool at night some times around here.. Now that I'm redoing the whole car I'm trying to deside what to do with it. Most likely wont put the a/c stuff back on since I sold it all already.. heat will stay though..

My car never had A/C, Ford forgot to put it in.

A/C in my 93 has not been charged for years, but all the components are still there. It didn't bother me until about 5 years ago when I bought my daily that has great A/C. When I replaced the heater core I bent the hot/cold cable and I think I broke the switch too. I have yet to find a replacement cable.

My 86 t-top which I sold did not have working A/C either. I did replace the heater core though. With temps in the 100s in DFW and 65% humidity, the summer months just sucked. The sun beating down on those glass tops, I am not sure if it was better with them on or off.

89 5.0 lx, no ac here, running a March ac delete , have had it 16 years now and I love to see engine and the ground below, not a bunch of clutter, just my taste.

I dont mind the no a/c but it still hasnt gotten up to full temp here in cali yet, so I'm kind of disappointed I'm leaving in a week for four months and wont be able to experience the full summer heat. The upside though is I get to experience 130* weather of the middle east, I wish I had my car there so I can find out how that would feel without a/c hahaha

removed both had a leak in the a/c system and a leaking heater core so just removed them, but the car is not a daily driver either so it works for me

That pretty much sums up how i feel.

If i were to go look at a fox for sale these days, it better be nice as hell for me to even consider it if you took the a/c out.
My first though would be "if this jackass took out the a/c, what other pointless things did he do?".

People can make all the excuses in the world of why they don't need it or why the took it out out a street car.
But the truth is, you are either in denial or just ignorant if you think any of them make any sense.

The best is "it looks better" or "it's easier to work on the car".
Umm, A. It doesn't look better, it looks like something is missing and B. It's not in the way of anything.

Honestly, if you don't throw out the parts, it's just not that hard or expensive to make the a/c work.

I speak from experience.

The other day i drove my car it was mid 90's out, i had to turn the a/c down because i was cold, something i don't think i've ever said before.

Well, if you delete the A/C, you are not only going to devalue your car, but it's going to be a whole hell of a lot harder to sell. However, these cars are not exactly investments. Nor are they comfort cars. If I had a low mile, good condition car I would not think about it, but my car, with 180K+ miles, that is basically being turned into a drag car, I don't feel bad about it.

No AC or heat here. With less then 500 miles a year dont really care. The fan is still there for moving some air in the cool fall mornings.

Ok I retract all previous statements, spent a few hours in stop and go traffic in sacramento at like 430 to 500 and it was soooo hot. HATE NOT HAVING A/C!
