Well Vax since every here wants to get technical to the point of stupdity I think you have all the information correct except your a little off on the TB sizing of the 2002+Gt's. Its 69mm, not 70mm.

well, all I know is that my old engine was a 98 4.6 gt, and when I put the C+L 80mm maf on my car, I noticed nothing except for a check engine light and after coding, said left bank is lean. Biggest waste of money I have spent yet!

I don't have to wish...I can dig into my junk parts box and pull out my C&L MAF if I want 85mm. OK, I'll give you half credit. It's not the 75mm you said, but it's not the 85mm either. OEM is 80mm on the 02. Ford redesigned the MAF for 02 (with an integrated air temp sensor), but the size remained the same as previous years...80mm.

No dude, you're wrong...maybe the V-6 had a 65mm unit(?), but the 4.6 had an 80mm MAF.

Huh...what were we talking about? I forgot.

OK...I was confused. The 5.0 cars were 55mm and with the change to the 4.6 in 96 they were 70mm. They were changed again in 01 to 80mm. The Cobra's also had 80mm sensors.

The fact that you don't know the size of your MAF...
